As a female Muslim-Asian migrant, a leading psychologist, and an expert court witness, she intimately understands the struggles marginalized individuals face within the legal and healthcare systems. Her own journey, successfully navigating challenges in higher education and her career, profoundly informs her dedication to aculturally-informed and person-centred approach.

During her extensive work as an Expert Witness, she repeatedly observed a devastating pattern: when clients with diverse needs—especially those with complex cultural, religious, or neurodiversity profiles—did not receive specialized, personalized, and culturally sensitive care, they often felt unheard or misunderstood. This resulted in a profound breakdown of trust and poor engagement with services, which ultimately hindered change and recovery and prolonged litigation. This led directly to the founding of Veritas Mind Experts, where every professional is selected for and committed to their expertise in addressing diversity and inclusion.

Veritas Mind Experts was also founded as a direct solution to another systemic hurdle: the fragmentation between medico-legal assessment and the timely implementation of appropriate clinical interventions, which repeatedly led to long and damaging delays, inadequate care, and increased cost and liability. Veritas Mind Experts bridges this gap by offering a unified and seamless pathway that connects assessment with tailored and culturally sensitive intervention under one integrated service.
